Hello everyone, I have to say as far as "Wiggaz" go, I LOVE em'! Real talk! Im from NYC and I used to live inda hood back in Jerzey, I had a wigga that was sexy as hell, I mean this dude has Thug Life tattooed across his belly and he used to hustle in the baddest project inda city. Unfortunatly he was arrested and I did stand by him when he went up state, but when he came home he passed away. I miss my baby soooo much, we used to call him eminem and project Pat (his name was Patrick). I was with him from age 19 to 26, when he passed away, but I've been hooked on wiggaz ever since! lol But he's the only one I had a real love for... So I cant lie, when I see a wigga that looks like him, ooooh weee! lol But my heart lies with him, so I guess no more for me... Sad but true y'all...

I admit I find whiggers funny, but I also have been known to date one here and there. Maybe I just like a good laugh or maybe it's because lightly done they fit in with my friends. The over the top ones are hilarious and they have no reason to exist other than making us laugh but done just right it can be sorta hot, not too much, just enough. Then it's like you're in a puddle splashing around danger rather than just diving into a pool of it. Too bad I am not a hoe or this post would be a lot more interesting. So I am an in between, love the over the top ones for laughter and feel sorry for them being the way they are, and love the ones who keep it in moderation for giving me the sense of danger without actually being anything more than a goof in baggy pants. So hi!

I am a student of American Studies, Culture, and Communication, from Europe.

The reason why I'm writing you is because I am working on my bachelor thesis right now and the paper deals with the question why white kids like Hip Hop and how far the identification and involvement with the culture really goes.
To investigate this issue, I set up a survey which contains sociological questions about your life, questions about your lifestyle as a hip hopper, and skill questions about Hip Hop culture.
The survey is completely anonymous and will not take longer than a maximum of ten minutes. The only requirements to take part are that you consider yourself as a Hip Hop fan.

First off, I feel the need to mention that I'm black. Second off, yes, wiggers are weird, I'll admit that they look goofy. However, there are legit people (who are white) that have grown up in the streets and around hip hop culture who dress and act this way because it's legitimately who they are...I wander if anybody has really thought of it like that. I will say that if I know this about a person I won't be angry with them. However, for those that do it as a "fad" it pisses me off because it stereotypes black people. We don't ALL dress like that, nor do we all want to. We DON'T stereotypically act that way because there is no reason for us to. In fact, most of the other black people I'm friends with look down upon that (my friends and I like to call that kind of stuff coon behavior). It angers me how a person who is not black will come up to me and say that "they are 'blacker' than me because I don't act black" or whatever that means. You should only dress that way if it's truly who you are, and if you truly feel comfortable enough to dress that way around black people. I'm being honest when I say I've met many "wiggers" who are scared straight when they actually meet black people who dress and act that way because they realize how ridiculous they act.

PS...ya'll need to grow out of the whole 2Pac, Biggie, 50, Eminem and whoeva else is extremely popular thing...there are others out there who are outstanding hip-hop musicians. If you're gonna claim to be a "rapper" you need to know your real hip hop roots. I'll bet you that many of you "wiggers" who claim to be rappers have never even heard of DJ Kool Herc who is universally accepted as the first hip-hop MC.
